I make stoneware pottery for everyday use along with some decorative pieces. Everything is individually made and decorated so that every piece is unique.

Most of my work is made using traditional techniques on a potters wheel and single-fired. This is an ancient technique which is energy efficient so more environmentally friendly than the usual double firing. When the clay has dried the raw unfired pot is glazed and then fired once to 1260°C in an electric kiln. You can read more about the process here.
